Born on April 25, 1952, Marty Singer is a Los Angeles-based attorney from Brooklyn, New York.

He and John H. Lavely Jr. offer legal counsel via their law firm Lavely & Singer PC.

Sometime in 1980, the pair established Lavely and Singer PC in Studio City.

The well-known lawyer told : "I think of my clients as my family.

"I love a lot of my clients, and I care for them, and if somebody f**ks with my clients, they’re f**king with my family. Or they’re f**king with me."

Singer shares three children with his wife of 40-plus years, Deena.

When did Singer start representing Lizzo?

On August 3, 2023, it was revealed Singer started representing Lizzo against lawsuit plaintiffs Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez.

Davis, Williams, and Rodriguez are former backup dancers of the Grammy Award winner.

Singer stated to : "We are confident that Lizzo will be completely vindicated in this matter."

Meanwhile, the Rumors singer released a statement via Instagram.

She said to her followers: "These last few days have been gut-wrenchingly difficult and overwhelmingly disappointing.

" My work ethic, morals, and respectfulness have been questioned. My character has been criticized.

"Usually, I choose not to respond to false allegations but these are as unbelievable as they sound and too outrageous to not be addressed.

"These sensationalized stories are coming from former employees who have already publicly admitted that they were told their behavior on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional."
