Forest Whitaker’s ex-wife Keisha dead at 51: Daughter True calls mom ‘most beautiful woman in the world’
THE ex-wife of renowned Oscars Award-winning actor Forest Whitaker has died at age 51.
Keisha Whitaker's death was announced by her daughter, True, on Thursday.
"Goodbye mommy. I love you 4ever and beyond," the heavy-hearted 25-year-old in an Instagram Story.
"The most beautiful woman in the world... thank you for teaching me every single thing I know.
"I'll see you in my dreams and I'll feel you in my heart."
The date and cause of death has not yet been publicly announced.
Keisha was married to the actor for 22 years.
Forest was the one who filed for divorce in 2018, citing irreconcilable differences, per .
The former model told the outlet the Oscar winner swept her off her feet when she met him.
“He is very honest and sensitive and romantic,” Keisha said during an interview in 1997.

The former couple met on the set of the 1993 film Blown Away. Keisha played Forest's girlfriend, and the two quickly turned the script into a real-life romance.
Forest proposed a year after they starred as lovers in the film together.
They were married in 1996 in a romantic ceremony in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
The exes share two daughters together, True and Sonnet Noel.
Keisha also has a daughter, Autumn, and Forest has a son, Ocean, both from previous relationships.
The couple's divorce did get contentious at one point, with Keisha demanding spousal support from the Oscar winner.
