CURTIS Pritchard enraged Maura on Love Island last night when he told her he was "too tired" to have sex - but the dancer was lying.
The Love Island hunk, 23, who was a professional dancer in 2017 and 2018 on Dancing with the Stars in Ireland vowed not to have sex on TV in case it ruins his chances of landing a job on Strictly Come Dancing.
Curtis, whose brother AJ is a professional on the BBC1 show, said he'd resist being intimate as it’s a “private matter” – but he’s still up for having snogs on screen.
Speaking in Majorca ahead of his time in the villa and before he met grid girl Maura, 28, he said: “Joining Strictly is an opportunity that I would never turn down but who knows.
“I won’t be having sex on TV – that’s a private matter, if somebody does that, that’s what they want to do but it’s not what I would like to do.
“I feel it’s a very private matter and should be done behind closed doors, not for the world to see.
"It should be between you and your loved one.
“Kisses are fine. Everything further than that, it should be a private matter.”
Curtis' decision comes after Miss Great Britain Zara Holland had sex on Love Island and was stripped of her crown.
She also told The Sun that she has quit fame following her Love Island romp amid fears she would always be remembered for being "the girl who had sex on TV."
The ex-islander, 22, said she's been turned down for multiple TV jobs and she's now too “petrified” to pursue a career in the spotlight.
Zara was sensationally stripped of her Miss GB crown in 2016 after having sex with Alex Bowen in the villa’s Hideaway.
Two years have passed but Zara feels she is the only contestant in Love Island history to have paid the ultimate price for a brief moment of intimacy.
MORE FROM LOVE ISLAND
In a stark warning to this year’s islanders, she said: “I would say to any contestants this series, don’t do anything that you would regret later in life.
“Sometimes things in the moment never leave you and it can be hard to get over. To put it down to one thing and it is still a fact now; I can’t get away from what happened.
“I feel like there were other girls on my series, not naming names, that did way worse than me but just because they didn’t have a title no one really cared."
